Boost Try-On Experience

Adidas went on a 12 city US tour promoting the Boost running shoe. We created a try-on experience where visitors could feel the power of Boost while going through a quick series of intense interval exercises. The user jumped, ran and did high knees on an LED platform in front of a large video wall. The platform sensed the users energy level and they were encouraged to work up a sweat by keeping track of their energy level, together with cheering spectators.

I developed the energy level meter, making sure that the algorithms matched the different activities, and that the experience got more and more intense closer to the end. I also programmed the LED animations in the platform.
